Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 11, 2011

IngZ, Inc., an Austin-based mobile software development company, announced today at SXSW ScreenBurn 2011 it is developing Traveller AR: http://www.Traveller-AR.com, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) role-playing game (RPG) for the iPhone. The location-aware space fantasy game, available this summer, uses AR Augmented Reality to create an immersive experience with the real world ? instead of a computer or TV screen ? as the backdrop for the gaming universe.

Until now, MMORPGs have been limited to the PC. With Traveller AR, ingZ is pioneering the next wave of MMORPGs that will use the smartphone to get gamers out of their basements and encourage them to explore the world around them. Moving beyond the limitations of a computer monitor will allow mobile gamers to take augmented reality on the road and explore the vast Traveller universe that is being ?painted? with the entire sky as the palette.

Traveller AR is based on the award-winning pen-and-paper science-fiction role-playing game first developed in 1976. Since its inception, millions of game books have been sold and the rabid following has led to seven Traveller novels. With the exclusive mobile license from Far Future Enterprises ? the holder of the Traveller IP ? ingZ is creating the explorable ?known space? of the Traveller AR game based on 35 years of development. The game database contains more than 40,000 fully explorable star systems and 350,000 fixed space objects such as stars, planets and bases, creating one of the largest game spaces ever built on any platform.

Users? home cities will represent their own planets, where they can engage in battles, alliances, commerce and other activities. By physically traveling to other cities or using special transport powers they earn playing the game, they can explore new planets and star systems to create infinite opportunities for adventure.

?For too long, gamers wanting to experience the world of MMORPGs have been relegated to the PC, limiting them to only virtual exploration,? said ingZ CEO Tony Howlett. ?Traveller AR finally moves the MMO experience to the smartphone to take gamers outside the home into the real world.? Howlett continued, ?Unlike other smartphone games, Traveller AR has incredible depth for RPG fans, and the unique augmented reality experience adds to the feeling of engaged and interactive role-play.?

Ilona Hegedűs is a young Hungarian writer who lives in Budapest. She is a graduate with English and Librarian majors and she also completed a master’s program in European Studies and Global Affairs. Ilona writes science-fiction, fantasy and horror in English, mainly in poetry form. Her works have appeared in a number of ezines and printed magazines in the United States and in Britain, including Illumen, Expressions Newsletter, Between Kisses, AlienSkin Magazine, Skyline, KidVisions, Whispers of Wickedness, Beyond Centauri, Astropoetica and Book of Dark Wisdom magazine.

Her first book of genre poetry (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, humor), Unearthly Companion has appeared in October 2005 and can be purchased at Lulu.com. The book has received glowing reviews and one of the poems in the book ‘Haunted House’ has been nominated for Muses Prize (in the Best Poem of Year 2005 category).

Another of her poems, Clarissa has just been nominated for The James B. Baker Award in the Best Poem for 2005 cathegory. This poem first appeared in the June 2005 issue of Between Kisses, then later in her book Unearthly Companion.

The James B. Baker Award was created by Sam’s Dot Publishing three years ago, in honor and in memory of one of the founders of Sam’s Dot Publishing. The award is officially called The James B. Baker Award For Genre Fiction but the four cathegories include not only Short Story, but also Poem, Article, and Art.

The nominees are selected at the end of each year, and each editor in Sam’s Dot Publishing selects the best short story, poem, and illustration from that year’s magazines which he or she edits. An independent judge is appointed to select the best short story, poem, article, and illustration from these, and this judge, a genre notable, remains anonymous until the announcement of the winners. The winners will be announced in the March issue of Expressions newsletter.

Ilona Hegedus is the first Hungarian writer who has a book of genre poetry published and she was also the first Hungarian writer who took up blogging in English, when she started Ilona’s World.

Later she also started a website entitled European Reader, in an effort to do something that nobody else has tried before. European Reader which she refers to as ‘a site for readers and writers in Europe and beyond’ includes news, reviews and interviews in English, and is aiming to provide the readers with news about the European literary scene, not only in Europe, but also in the United States, in Britain and in other parts of the world, as the Internet and the increasing use of English as a world language, at last, makes it possible.

Jonathan David is a computer science major and is employed as a software engineer at a Holland, Michigan facility. The Enemy Mind, David’s second published novel, expounds the theory behind the legitimacy of time travel aside from the stereotypical assumption offered in conventional science-fiction Hollywood movies.

A description of the novel is as follows:

Crandall Cady is just an average family man who wants nothing more than to lead an average life. But a disk he discovers on a crowded sidewalk is about to change his average life forever. The contents appear to be a home video filmed four weeks from the day he discovers it, and the contents are of him.

The next four weeks are a countdown to zero, and to protect his family, Crandall has precious little time to determine if the recorded images are genuine or merely an elaborate hoax. As he begins to unravel the mystery behind the disk, he starts to question everything he has ever learned about fate and predictability. Crandall is thrust unwillingly into a game being played at his expense, and the result is a downward spiral into madness.

After reviewing The Enemy Mind, iUniverse was quoted as saying; “WOW! [Jonathan David’s] storytelling abilities leave me speechless. [David has] approached, tackled and conquered, in my opinion, a very difficult storyline but one that will have universal appeal to a wide audience”

MR JOB and the story about the KEOPS PYRAMID IN GIZA

“MR JOB and the 7 wonders of the world – The KEOPS Pyramid in GIZA”

The “Dude” and MR JOB was having a discussion, this time about history.
“The Dude” asked, dear JOB I know you know something about history. Not much JOB
replied but a little I do know. He asked the “Dude” have you ever heard about
the 7 “Wonders” of the ancient world. Nooh I have not the “Dude said”. Well JOB said I have put the list below, how many do you know “Dude”….??

Pyramid of Giza

Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Statue of Zeus at Olympia

Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus

Colossus of Rhodes

Lighthouse of Alexandria

The Dude answered, actually I only heard about the Pyramids…!!
Job answered the friend, that’s ok “Dude” because many people only know about them and by the way the 6 other “wonders” does not exist any more. Funny they always take about the 7 , the “JOBBER” continued and now they made a list of the7 “Modern Wonders”, anyway my lucky number is 7, JOB continued and let me tell you the story about the biggest Pyramid “KEOPS”.

OK there are different theories, the most recognized one is that it was build as a “TOMB” or burial Chamber for the Pharaoh Keops app.2500 years BC…!

Another theory that is not very well recognized is that the KEOPS was build 10.000 years BC by a lost civilization and it should have been able to generate electricity !!!

OK JOB the “Dude” said what is your theory….??

My theory is that it is definitely old and probably build at least 2500 years BC, but I do not believe it was build to be at TOMB or to GENERATE ELECTRICITY, nooh JOB said I believe it was build to be a kind of a GIANT RADIO TRANSMITTER and it is sending signals far out in space…..!!!

That is a crazy theory JOB, even more crazy than the one with the electricity….I know so keep it for yourself my friend….he he he………….the “Dude” was laughing too…!

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) July 18, 2007

New open source movie project aims to create a full community of users who collaborate in the creation and execution of a short science-fiction film titled Jathia’s Wager. An experiment in collaborative filmmaking, the initial script is about a young man living in an isolated community of humans, who must make a life changing decision about his future and his species.

The script was written as an experiment by Solomon Rothman, a filmmaker who’s already released one full movie online for free. Rothman hopes the project will fully explore the concept of open, collaborative filmmaking and inspire people to create a true open-source filmmaking community. In order to encourage derivatives and actually get the project rolling, he wanted to start with a short script that had a psychological and serious undertone, and could be changed without a major time investment.

“I wanted people to get involved and let the collaborative process start happening long before the movie is shot” says Rothman. “I wanted creative individuals to be able to share every step in this journey. So I wrote the script in one sitting, edited it over the course of a few days and now I think it’s ready to be examined, picked apart, and re-interpreted by the world.”

Rothman will film his version of the movie and five others chosen by majority vote from the community (given that at least 5 people submit entries or work together to change the direction of the script). When it’s time to film, he’ll put the casting videos online and involve the community as much as possible. After the movies are done, all the source files will be uploaded online for people to re-edit and reuse. After all the mixes have been released, he’ll put 5 of the top versions together and release a DVD showing the variants; it will also be available as a free download online.

“The Comparison between the Spaceship, Eclipse2 and a “Normal Engine”

“The comparison between the spaceship “Eclipse2” and normal
“Engines”

MR JOB was thinking to himself and then he had to
admit, he was lying a little about the “engines” the “Eclipse2” is equipped
with. He can not say much about this, after all he is not an engineer. Anyway it
is the fastest “carrier” in the universe since it can travel with “light speed“,
and sure quite comfortable too and it is made of material you can not find on
planet earth. Where MR JOB was fantasizing a little bit, was when he mentioned
the “sound” of the enormous engines when he passed the moon on his way dawn to
Earth. Actually there is no sound in Space, pretty quiet up there, but as
everybody probably know, it takes a hell of a lot fuel to put a spacecraft into
the atmosphere and the “blast” of this kind of engines is remarkable. Well
enough about that.

MR JOB was thinking about the beauty and “State of
Art” engines on planet Earth. Yes he is a car freak and what sounds better than
the sound of “double Weber Carburettors”, like in old “full blood” Italian sport
cars. Anyway the supremacy of Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and “Lambo”, just to mention a
few. Or what about the technology and engineering of the German sport Cars,
“Twin turbo´s and higly compressed engines”, yeah, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes.
JOB was thinking further about the American cars and her he is more into the old
ones, V8 engines and V12 like an old Corvette Stingray from his own birth year
or the legendary Mustang. The English legendary sport cars like the Aston Martin
the MG etc…is also a great chapter.

Anyway these kind of cars are only
for the few but it is a very exiting experience to “ride” a vehicle like
that…………

Enough about cars, normal cars should be cheap to buy, economic and
comfortable. These kind of cars are made all over the world, indeed in Europe,
Italy, France, Germany, Spain, but also in the far east, Japan, Korea etc. and
yes of course too in the United States.

MR JOB woke up from the dream and
got dawn to basics, right know the “engine” consists of his to legs when he go
ride his bike………………….

Below  MR JOB found a picture of a somewhat “crazy” car…..!!!

The Inter Galactic travel from Planet Guardian to Planet Earth – “The briefing”

The Inter Galactic travel from Planet Guardian to the planet Earth -

”The briefing”

JOB was really tired after the recent demanding missions, his father had sent
him out on, but the general said , dear son the trip takes only 1 week with our
technology and you will just be put into a comatose state and I have arranged
for a little entertainment along the way, where you will be informed of how you
are / should be as a human being. In other words, your personality in the
earthly context. It’s all on the tape for you. Everything from reserves,
political contexts, the balance of power between major powers, etc. I expect you
deliver a comprehensive report within 1 month, after the month you will in
earthly sense, be a grown man of 43 years and 8 months. JOB nodded and he and
the general hugged and said goodbye. He went for the Space ship ”Eclipse2” that
was ready for take off.

Well on the road JOB sat on the band and heard his father the general’s
voice. Dear son, I wish you a pleasant journey. I will start by telling you a
little about your star sign, Your earthly personality.

There are many stars, constellations etc. But to stick to with what we want,
it will be you who was born 28.02.68 and therefore you are in addition to being
a fish in western terminology also born in the monkey’s character, according to
ancient Chinese mythology.

You will briefly hear the 2 descriptions, sounded the general’s voice over
the speaker.

The sign of Pisces

Pisces is often characterized as being somewhat feminine by nature and quite
sensitive. In the capacity as a water sign, it is the universal human emotions
such as earthly suffering as the fish are characterized by. As I can quote a
place I’ve read is the “fish, a moving character who disseminates energy
sporadically and arbitrarily.” In other words, the fish are moving in the
direction “the wind blows.” This fits very well on you MR JOB as I changed
girlfriends, jobs and friends etc.. countless times throughout my earthly life.
Furthermore, it is said that fish express themselves sensitively and in a rather
diffuse way, ie. at that they channels intangible impulses and therefore those
who are born in the sign are very receptive to signals on an ethereal plane. In
other words, a strong tendency to dream / daydream and fantasize, and an urge to
feel like martyrs. Why fish often work with people or associated with creative
work, especially in connection with music and films but also in connection with
nature and help people in need of social interaction. The fish is quite short,
the sign of dreams, disappointments and spiritual enrichment.

The General’s voice sounded from the speakers. Dear son it was the first
sign. Second the sign of the Monkey.

The sign of the Monkey

The monkey is also very resourceful and can solve even the toughest problems
in an original way. Let’s go back and dwell on the monkey, sounded the general’s
voice over the speaker As it is written the monkey can also be good at making
decisions and it is generally sound but should be careful not to look down on
others. The monkey also has a strong will and can be angry but anger cools
quickly. The last is a good match of you JOB, you can get very angry but regret
often quite quickly and apologize for your behavior. Another description of the
monkey reads; Monkeys are in addition to being intelligent also inventive and
humorous. The monkey is ambitious in money, power and success. It is designed
for innovation and solving difficult tasks and problems. It is somewhat the same
as the second quotation but it says in turn that they monkeys are born
strategists and is well regarded for their competence.

JOB yawned and thought, sounds like a good profile.

Let’s look a little more on this monkey which I find more similarities
concerning JOB than the before mentioned fish. I will ask some questions, Are
you full of energy?, Do you find it easy to lure other people with your ideas?
would you even think you’re right smart? And JOB found himself being able to say
yes to these 3 questions so you might be a monkey JOB.

JOB laughed within himself, while the general’s voice continued .

Monkeys and I mean real monkey’s have a mischievous nature. Just take a trip
to the zoo so you’ll understand what I mean. The mythological monkey loves also
to do practical jokes with their friends, acquaintances or others who are near
and not withstanding, they expect that the people quite believe it’s for fun and
just laugh with, even if they are the ones sacrificing. In contrast, monkeys
also tended to be absent-minded which indeed seems very obvious, especially in
the light of this they are constantly planning new ways to tease others. Monkeys
are otherwise relatively seldom sick, only if it is the nerves and this fits
exceptionally well on the undersigned Sir 28.02.68. A weakness of the monkey is
just that besides being unstable in relationships, and by virtue of the limited
self-control, it easily can end up in trouble with an unbridled consumption of
food, alcohol, drugs and other abuses. JOB you must be honest and admit that
alcohol and overuse of this has previously been a part of your life on earth.
However, the monkey when the master of his self-control, can live a highly
adventurous life, resulting in some interesting experiences. Some say that the
monkey’s motto is “everything must be tested at least once” and JOB will have it
the same way. Where do monkeys life? Real monkeys live of course, usually in
tropical countries in the jungles and rain forests with the exception of those
who are cooped up in zoo. The mythological monkey which of course are the ones
we discuss here, chooses often to return to urban life rather than the quiet
country life. They are stimulated to have many people around them and never get
tired of watching other people. One example, which also fit your own monkey, is
if you visit one of these monkeys purely private, you will experience many
windows and colorful paintings as monkey – people are keen to keep up with
what’s happening around them.

Monkeys are also quick to grasp new material and good at adapting to new
surroundings, why they are sought after as employees and colleagues. Monkeys are
also good to make lots of money but use them often faster than they earn them
and that suits unlikely good on you. In addition, monkeys like to holiday where
there is a crack on, city or beach – town with a party, disco and restaurants
while they rarely choose a solitary hike in the mountains. It also fits well on
JOB. Besides being extremely mischievous, they are also violently promiscuous.
They love a good flirt, and the chance presents itself often as they have a
vibrant and outgoing personality. They are therefore also targeted after what
they want and do not hesitate to use manipulation, persuasive arguments and
other tricks to get their way.

Monkeys are affectionate and exciting lovers and you rarely bored in their
company because of their strong sense of humor and the ability to charm everyone
and everything. The urge to flirt despite the monkey chooses most often a
partner for life.

And here I still have to admit that it does not fit you. JOB heard the
general’s voice. You’ve been in love with a 2-4 times (possibly more) of your
life, but simultaneously learned that nothing lasts forever and this have
crushed your heart sometimes. This have always brought you to the fall, where
you are now in your search for the eternal love. Possibly it fits on you anyway
because the few times you’ve been really in love, it has been your partner that
has run away. The older you get, you are nevertheless finally acclimated to the
sometimes cynical and cold world you live on planet earth and where love is only
on loan. They’re like the poem I remember you did my son was the general’s
voice, except you know that love is a constant factor of our planet Guardian,
therefore are all happy here .

It sounded like this:

Once I found a raindrop, I picked it up and put it in my pocket. I was
incredibly happy with my raindrop and had it with me all the time. Sometimes I
put it in my garden at night. One day I put it out there when it was sunny and
then it disappeared. Since I have never collected rain drops and since then I’ve
never been in love. ”

Your focus in life will be love and something else to think about than gold
in the bank, big cars, big houses. In short, the belief that stock “happiness”
makes you happy, it does not. What is important and always will be the most
important is your love for your wife, your children, your family and friends. So
many forget it and in addition, charity is also very important. A lot of people
forget this too. (Dear JOB you should know that your earthly family is very
materialistic set, the general’s voice sounded on the loudspeaker and you will
therefore be a sensitive person who will be trapped here) BUT REMEMBER THE
ASSIGNMENT thundered the general’s VOICE…!!

Now comes a quote from their Christian religion sounded the general’s
voice.

Anyone who is driven by love for others than love of Jesus has no love. Be in
love and you have the peace of God, because God himself is love. How many
statements from the Bible and the first books of Moses are being interpreted and
misinterpreted. The greatest love is the supernatural love, that is the
Christian love. That’s the message through time and eternity. Paul writes about
love. The height, depth width and length of love. Jesus says that you are losing
love because there is something you hate. What you hate is the ridiculous.
You’ll win if you believe. We get more life as we speak.

He who can hear and will hear will have a place in paradise. Earthquakes,
poverty etc. There has also been a lot of this before and after Jesus’ time.
Therefore, lawlessness take over in the period when Jesus comes again (if you
believe that he is doing it). This will especially be many hardships,
persecutions, etc.., which will shape the world and the worst is that love also
becomes barren and forgotten. Only perseverance and faith can save us if this
happens, if people are put under so much pressure. It is therefore important
that we prepare for the crowds. The message is “in your troubles, be faithful to
save life itself.”

I doubt that him they perceive as Jesus comes again in a physical sense, the
General’s voice was continuing. He is with them constantly and you can seek
solace in prayer. Something which in turn scares me is that we see a world /
planet in the decay of natural disasters, climate change, persecution, murder,
wars, financial crisis etc.

The General’s voice sounded again sharply over the speaker

I told you the conditions down there were tough so prepare yourself
thoroughly.

The tape went on…..

Let me just go back to the red wire on the Zodiac Sign you are equipped with
so we can track us into a proper diagnosis / profile of MR JOB.28.02.68.

28.02.68, fish or monkey, we are gradually getting pointed us into the person
you will to be when you hit the planet earth.

General’s voice came over the loudspeaker;

last quote of the monkey who takes good care of them self is as follows; To
get a good and harmonious life too, the monkey have to learn that the world is
not always centered on them, and they must learn – sometimes putting others’
needs in line with their own.

Humanity has a term called “EREA HUMAN EST”, and that means it is in human
nature to fail. You will get to fail “a few times my boy”. One last bit of
information;

You my boy get to work as a salesman, you have always been good at this (the
best thought JOB, you old fool ..he he he), the general thought (yes my son I
know what you thought, but here you will be punished … he he he).

JOB thought carefully about his profile, and thought to himself, sounds to be
a charming guy, but maybe also a little lazy and sensitive. In other words I can
sense that my ride down there will be fierce . (He laughed at himself, and
thought of the trip to the planet Septus, the last mission , IT WAS HARD,
however JOB did not realize what he had to face on this Mission.

Shortly after the tape was running out and it sounded over the loudspeaker
… we will be landing on Earth in about 10 minutes.

Eclipse2 landed and JOB was finally arrived and ready to solve the difficult
task .

The year was 1968, the 28th February earthly time, afternoon 16.34.

JOB checked his moon watch and set it correct,, and said to himself “It is a
Dirty Job” but somebody has to do it…he he he
