“The Slammer”

Well JOB the “Dude” said, I know you always loved to travel in Greece. OOH yes indeed JOB said, nice Islands, good weather, good food and friendly people.  Listen to me ” my boy” these trips are history it´s almost 20 years ago ! Anyway yes and no JOB said, I have been there many times with my ex wife and “agent honey” too.  Short story but let´s do remember.  The “Dude” said I do remember the “slammers” ! Ooh yes JOB said that awful drinks, I do remember that too my boy  but you know too much alcohol is not good for you ! I also do remember too we met some nice people there, some girls, I think they were from ISRAEL !

You are probably right, anyway a couple of pictures from the “old days”my friend !

The 2 friends went to get a cup of coffee and forgot about the “SLAMMERS” !

81% Of Women Hit On At Company Parties

In a recent survey conducted by WorkingMomsOnly.com, 81% of women surveyed had been hit on by a co-worker at some type of company holiday gathering. The survey reports that more than 86% of the women were surprised by the actions of the co-worker and more than 60% reported that the advancement had been made by a supervisor. According to the survey, more often than not, the parties involved were married, which seemed to put an impact on the relationship these women had with the co-worker involved when returning to work. Hot Holiday Toys ? How to Keep Your Children Safe this Holiday Season

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, injuries related to toys created close to 186,000 injuries that required emergency room treatment for those ages 15 and younger in 2009. The majority of the injuries were to the head and face, including the eyes.

 

The following tips will help keep children safe this holiday season;

 

TIP # 1 ? Consider the Size of the Toy

 

For toddlers and all children who still mouth objects, avoid toys with small, or sharp parts. These parts could be swallowed and could pose a fatal choking hazard. As a test, if any part of the toy can fit inside a toilet paper roll, it is considered a hazard and not appropriate for children under the age of 3.

 

TIP#2 ? Consider the Shape of the Toy

 

Make sure a toy doesn?t have any blunt edges that have points. These toys could puncture the skin or eyes. Avoid toys that shoot or include parts that fly off. BB Guns and air guns should not even be considered toys!

 

TIP#3 ? Check the Label

 

Look for labels that give age recommendations and warnings. Look for any toxic substances that may be painted on the toy and check instructions for clarity.

 

TIP#4 ? Discard Plastic Wrapping and Strings

 

Immediately discard plastic wrapping on toys and avoid all toys with strings. Plastic wrapping may have sharp edges and could cause suffocation, while strings can be very dangerous if the string gets wrapped around your child?s neck.

 

TIP#5 ? Protect Your Child with Gear

Gifts of sports equipment should always be accompanied by protective gear. 90% of all sports-related eye injuries could have been prevented simple by using appropriate eye protection.
